with the West End Seniors is planning a Train Tour of the Agawa Canyon from
September 12 – 14. The following is a brief summary.
Day 1. Leave Mississauga at 7 AM by
luxury motor coach to Sault Ste Marie, stopping for breakfast lunch and
afternoon break. There also is a stop at the Big Nickel mine in Sudbury for
sightseeing and photo opportunities along the way.
Day 2. We spend a day on board the
Agawa Canyon Tour Train operated by Algoma Central Railway. The travel to Agawa
Canyon is impressive itself and takes about 4 hours. Once in Agawa Canyon, the
train stops for about 1.5 hours to allow you to explore the wonder of the
Canyon, hike to numerous waterfalls and even climb the lookout tower for those
once in a lifetime views. The train then returns to Sault Ste Marie taking 4
hours.
Day 3. Travel back from Sault Ste.
Marie to Mississauga, again stopping for breakfast, then lunch in Parry Sound,
and a dinner stop on the way home.

3 Day trip to Northern Ontario to see the
incredible fall colours in Agawa Canyon from aboard the Agawa Canyon train.

Round trip transportation from Mississauga to
Sault Ste Marie on deluxe motor coach equipped with a bathroom, reclining seats
and flat screen TV’s for in-bus entertainment.

One Agawa Canyon Train tour ticket.
·
2 Hot breakfasts- one in the train dining car
and one at the hotel.
·
One Boxed Picnic Lunch on the train ride.
·
Two nights stay at either the Quattro Hotel and
conference Center or at the Water Tower Inn; both rated as one of the best
hotels in the city.

Optional side trip after the train tour to the
OLG Casino.
·
Complimentary bottled water on the Coach, all
tips, and complimentary Wi Fi is available at the hotels.

Dear Members,
In accordance with Section 8 (c) of the 55PGA
Constitution, the Annual General Body Meeting (AGM) will be held in the Olga
Tyne Room at the Cawthra Seniors’ Center, 1389 Cawthra Road South, Mississauga
Ontario, on Wednesday April 5th 2017 at 6 P.M.
The meeting is open only to members in good standing
as of December 31st. 2016, or members who have renewed for 2017 and
to new members.
